A Chartered Building Surveyor with over 40 years experience in the construction industry; following a surveying career in Local Authority and Higher Education he entered private practice as a partner in 1982.

His experience covers the full range of building surveying services from surveys through design and administration of contracts, dilapidation, fire, DDA, party wall, project management etc. He is currently involved in strategic planning and as employer’s agent and CDMC on a variety of interesting projects.

Danny joined Mason Owen in 2007 and qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in the same year.

Before joining Mason Owen, Danny worked with the property team at Travis Perkins assisting in the refurbishment of existing buildings and construction of new developments. At Mason Owen he provides all the elements of professional Building Surveying work.

Danny specialises in Schedules of Dilapidations where he achieves high levels of success for both landlords and the tenants. He has recently defended Liverpool Football Club against a large dilapidations claim when they moved offices and has successfully negotiated on numerous large Terminal Dilapidations claim for commercial landlords.

Guy joined Mason Owen in 2007 as a graduate Building Surveyor, he has since completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Building Surveying, and he is currently working towards Chartered Building Surveyor Status.

Guy's main areas of work and experience include, preparing and negotiating dilapidation claims for both landlords and tenants; Providing strategic dilapidations advice for tenants who are approaching lease end to minimize their dilapidations liability; Designing and administering small to medium size refurbishment projects on historic listed buildings; Preparing photographic schedules of condition for tenants; Preparing drawings and submitting statutory applications.

Stuart joined Mason Owen in 1994 and worked in Property Management until taking on the role of Health & Safety in 2001 and now works within the Building Services team.

Stuart advises clients in relation to Health & Safety Matters relating to their investments and undertakes Risk Assessments, Fire Risk Assessments.

Stuart also undertakes Asbestos Surveys on properties and can help in producing Asbestos Management Plans.
