A new distribution warehouse in Bromborough due to be completed in December 2011 has been acquired for £8 million by Mason Owen’s specialist investment team on behalf of Invista Real Estate Management. Invista is developing the 170,000 sqft unit, which will carry a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating, in partnership with Hampton Brook Estates and the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA).
Located on Thermal Road, Bromborough on Wirral – an established commercial area about 3 north of Junction 5 of the M53 – the new unit is adjacent to Cereal Partners’ production facility. The entire unit has been pre-let to Great Bar Distribution, who hold a contract to warehouse and distribute Cereal Partners’ products, for a term of ten years with a fixed rental uplift in the fifth year.
